Encepur® Children
A formulation uniquely developed for children (from 1-11 years of age)

Encepur® Adults
A formulation especially designed for adolescents and adults (from 12 years of age)

Encepur® Children/ Encepur® Adults has proven to be highly effective in protecting against tick-borne encephalitis (TBE). Also known as spring-summer encephalitis, TBE is a viral infection of the central nervous system transmitted by bites of certain kinds of infected ticks. The disease is found in countries throughout Europe and Asia and causes flu-like symptoms and can also cause illnesses such as meningitis and meningoencephalitis that can lead to permanent neurological damage, even death.

The current formulations of Encepur® are free of any preservative and additional protein stabilizers. A special rapid immunization schedule is approved. Protecting antibodies appear within 21 days.

Rabipur®/ RabAvert®

Rabies is most often spread from animal to animal or animal to human through contact with infected saliva via a bite or scratch. Approximately 60,000 rabies deaths are reported globally every year and up to 50 % of all rabies victims are children.

Novartis's purified chick embryo cell rabies vaccine (trademarked as Rabipur® and RabAvert®) is the most widely used high quality cell culture vaccine with more than 55 million doses administered in ~70 countries worldwide.

Rabipur®/ RabAvert® is WHO recommended and FDA approved. A proven pre-exposure vaccination and post-exposure prophylaxis for all age groups.
