Community involvement
Novartis supports local communities through volunteerism and philanthropic activities. Our major local-volunteer activity is our Community Partnership Day, with associates participating globally.
Held in April each year, the Community Partnership Day provides an opportunity for our associates around the world to make a difference in their local communities, expressing their individual commitment to corporate citizenship.
The initiative aims to support local communities, social institutions and nonprofit organizations with projects compatible with our commitment to social responsibility.
In addition to Community Partnership Day, we demonstrate a global perspective with more than 12 foundations and emergency-relief programs. We give back to society through contributions to schools, research prizes and cultural events.
